JOB OVERVIEW:

The Scheduler performs clerical/scheduling activities that facilitate agency operations related to employee and patient schedules.

 

My commitment will include:

  • Answering patient questions promptly to assure patient needs are met efficiently.
  • Assisting clinicians with schedules to ensure care is delivered effectively and efficiently.
  • Scheduling according to authorization and assure compliance with conditions of participation/regulatory requirements and internal processes.
  • Completing personnel associations and maintain field staff model and working calendars.
  • Maintaining organized, effective communication systems to ensure continuity of care and managing staff productivity.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate Degree preferred.
  • Experience: One (1) year experience in a health care setting. Scheduling experience preferred.
  • Skills: Requires interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Able to demonstrate problem-solving skills, organizational skills and attention to detail. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Extensive computer experience required
