The Customer Relations Supervisor manages the Customer Relations Departments in all states, performing a wide variety of duties responsible for processing all Great Lakes Caring Home Health, Hospice and Palliative care referrals in the Corporate hub and designated state hubs.


My commitment will include:

  • Resolving problems related to the processing of referrals.
  • Managing all of the call center queues.
  • Developing and monitoring department’s policies, procedures and processes and is responsible for supervising and directing the daily activities of the call centers’ operations.
  • Training, coaching and assessing customer relations representatives.
  • Significant and in depth knowledge and understanding of all corporate operational processes as they relates to processing of referrals.
  • Managing and hiring staff for the Customer Relations Department.
  • Knowledge of policies, procedures and growth objectives of the home health, hospice and palliative service lines.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication between the referral source, Patient Care Coordinator, patient/family, clinical team and any other source who is instrumental in processing the referrals.



  • Education: Degree in health care related field preferred.
  • Experience: Requires 2-3 years of experience working in home health and 1-2 years of management experience.
  • Skills: Requires interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff and take patient referrals. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage personnel and processes.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation.
